'06 330i maintenance schedule?

I was wondering what is a good maintenance schedule to follow for an '06 330i? I currently have 49000 miles and was hoping to keep this car for a long time.

Generally the advice is to follow the published maintenance with the following suggestions.

1) Oil changes can be done more frequently than called for. Most recommend between 5k and 10k miles between changes. The full 15k - 19k the car will normally suggest going is probably safe... But more often is probably safer.

2) Transmission and diff fluid should probably be done every 50k miles or so.

3) Coolant should be changed. Some say every 2 years, I'd say 3 to 4 years or 70k miles is safe to me. Also change the oil filter housing gasket at the same time.

Here you go. I just got this in the mail from "BavAuto" with a link to a PDF for the maintenance schedule. Just click on "3 Series Sedan 06 on – (E90)". They also have plenty of videos and tips for many DIY.

Follow your CBS data in the car. Brake fluid is due every 2 years.

The question was "what is a good maintenance schedule"

MstrRogers330i, are you asking what our personal schedule is or what is the bare minimum required?

There are several people here who have gone past 150,000 mi using only the scheduled maintenance program without issue. I think Miller goes to the extreme in some cases here, but everything he mentions is correct and documented. I've done pretty close to what he recommends with the exception of the coolant/fuel system hoses and belts. I haven't touched those as every place I take them to says they look good and don't recommend replacing them.

A couple of things he doesn't mention, are the PCV hoses (which failed on my car). And also, have your car scanned regularly. Several codes don't cause any warnings and will go unnoticed. These are referred to as shadow or passive codes. They will only show up on GT1 or Autologic tools. Bavarian Technik also has a tool that will work.

Just changed my diff and manual trans fluid at 5.5years/50k miles, transmission fluid was black, diff fluid looked clean.

Going to do the transmission again after every 25k miles as it just looked plain ugly.

Will do the diff every 50,000 miles.

I got 50K on my 330i and plan on keeping it for long, long time. The N52 is a terrific 6 and the car drives like its on rails. I'm going with Mike Miller's program:

oil/filter - 5K (7.5K for BMW oil)
diff - 30K
ATF/filter - 60K
power steering - 30K
air filter - 30K
fuel filter - 60K
plugs - 60K
