Trying to buy some of theses...

Hi there

I am trying to buy some of these perches to be sent to the UK. I've sent an email to SP and left you a voicemail but got no reply.

Can you pm me, or mail me on roblloyd77@hotmail.com please as i'd like to buy some asap.

My 335d msport coupe is too high at the front! especially with the new competition wheels fitted

Thanks in advance

Rob

70% sure I'm gonna buy these this week but i have a picture request if possible: stock sport suspension with perches and 19" wheels. preferably e92 but e90 should work.

dont know why it can't be mounted to coilovers cause mine aren't goin low enough, this 10-15mm would be just great.. I don't have camber plates on my coils, and as I understood those are the perches that the coils without camber plates are mounted in right? or I got it all twisted? :S

piero_cro -- it can be used with coilovers. Any suspension that uses the OEM top hat can use this lowering perch........

hey tam, any pics with an OEM sport suspension and then the perches added afterwards? and these are only for the front springs correct?

I've been told: "well just remember, if you lower the front without the rear, you shift the weight balance up front.
shifting weight balance up front might provoke oversteer as the back will be lighter."

Arrived

Hi Tam, just a quick note to let you know the perches arrived (although i got stung for import duty, ggrr!)

Looking forward to getting these on. I'll take some before and after pictures of my 335d msport coupe fitted with 2011 M3 Competition rep wheels so people can see how effective the simple mod is.

Going to fit them myself and am thinking that it would be best to clamp and compress the springs whilst there is load on the car, then jack it up to undo the bolt.

Do you agree?

Thanks

Rob

Piero -- in case SP didn't answer your question -- you need to check which perch your coilovers are using in front. Most coilovers use a non-factory perch, usually about 2.25" or 2.5" inner diameter. But some like PSS use the factory upper perch.

You can tell by looking under your front wheel well and see how big the spring is. The inner diameter of the factory-style spring (or PSS spring) is much higher than a 2.25" or 2.5" ID spring. Compare yours to stock cars if you're unsure.

If you let me know what coilover you are using I can let you know if the perch will work

For example: Bilstein or KW coilover will work with the perches however FK will not

As long as you are using the OEM upper spring perch with your coilover then you can use the lowering spring perch
