The only downside of Koni FSDs...

So far, the Koni FSDs are very impressive.

The only downside is when you get a larger "dip" in the road... because it's a lower frequency than small road imperfections or bumps, the shocks tend to stiffen up. They are still very supple, but the transition is more abrupt and less comfy.

Not a major issue, because this situation doesn't come up too much. But just something to be aware of.

Aside from that, they are amazing. Drove on a relatively dangerous windy road yesterday and it was just so easy and controlled... really feels safer with proper shocks.

Is this a speed related feeling? I've noticed a single wheel bump at very slow speed will feel a little harsher than expected. Go over it a few mph faster and it is much softer. If this is what you mean, this can be a characteristic of many dampers.

Yup, it's speed related, only because that changes the frequency of the impact, which changes the shock behavior. I think there will be some speed at which it may actually respond better, but it's a little tricky to figure out exactly for that kind of large infrequent dip.
