Saw the aftermath of a small twister on my way home fromn work. Barely touched down just up the exit of 575 and hwy 20. Took a little of the Chik fil a, stop lights, couple trees and someones roof out.

also I thought about maybe not having one because the BMW CCA is having a free meet at 5 Seasons at the Prado on that Thursday Sept 14, let me know what you guys think. Remember the Falcons game is at 8:00PM that Sunday against the Eagles.

I think there is a little confusion......let me clarify the confusion.

On Thursday Sept 14th BMW CCA is having a free meet for members and non members at 5 SEASONS at the Prado.


Our meet is Sunday Sept 18th and I'm thinking about Taco Mac at the Prado.

The question is should we skip the Sunday meet and just all go to the Thursday BMW CCA meet since everyone including the Bimmerforums guys are all going to be there and its in the same general location as our Sunday meet? Or should we have both meets? Like bhbfalcons said, the Falcons game is on Sunday night and some people won't be able to attend because they have Falcons tickets or they have their own groups that meet for Falcons games. I'm thinking now, maybe we should cancel the Sunday meet and just all attend the BMW CCA meet. And don't forget to check our blog for updates....http://atlbimmers.blogspot.com

My GF's dad owns it and just bought a $30k alignment machine. Apparently it's one of the few (if not the only one) in the state. Don't know the details but lasers seem to be old school and this one uses cameras. Give them a call and tell them Jody sent you (make me look good!). Their prices are beyond reasonable too.

FYI, the 14th is Wednesday.

I'm not too sure that I can make it. I get out of my last class at 6:15 so I probably could make it in time but I just don't know what my schedule is for that Thursday yet, so I might be swamped in my studies.




ALSO, the Peachtree BMW CCA chapter is finally having a car corral at the Petit Le Mans this year!! Only problem, it's like $125 for the basic package. To be able to park there it's $225. I'd do it but I don't need to be spending that kind of money. At least you get to have a meet and greet with the RLL drivers.

Wow, to think that when I had my S4 and a member of the Audi CCA, it was free to enter the corral. As long as you drove an Audi into the area, you parked and got food/drinks.

My annual BMWCCA seems to get me less and less every year.

United BMW in Roswell is hosting all 6 RLL drivers for a gathering on the 27th at 6pm!!! They will have race cars on display, a Q&A session with the drivers and a raffle. And they don't make you pay $200 for the honor.

I'm just glad it's on a Tuesday since that's when I get out from classes early so I will be there too!

To be honest, you still have plenty of opportunities to talk with the drivers at the Petit Le Mans. Last year I talked a bit with Joey Hand just before the race started and with Bill Auberlen after the race. You can stand 5 ft away from the entire team during the entire race and not have to pay extra at all like you have to for NASCAR. So if you can't make this event then don't sweat it.

I saw your M3 at C&O and it looked great! I saw some a couple of M3 convertibles too(e93) I wish I could've gotten an M3, but it wasn't my time. So 328 it is.
