*e92 with 219m / 260m reference*

After searching and searching fitting these wheels on a coupe and not finding much, I figured this thread could hopefully shine some light for others that may be searching like I was.

I ended up with a set of 219m's that have et23 rears, some have post that they come in et29 but that was not my case.

Car Specs:
2008 E92 335i, stock sport package car (not that it matters), rear fenders are rolled to the max, and alignment is done to factory specs.

Wheel / Tire Specs:
OEM Style 219M wheels made by BBS Germany. Taken off of a 2008 E9? M3.
F: ET29 18x8.5 245/40/18 OEM M3 Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
R: ET23 18x9.5 255/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport

Beautiful day out for a photoshoot!

Side Notes
I initially installed 265/35 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's, AvusBlauS50 rolled the rears and still had a lot of rubbing. Im positive if I had et29's they would have fit perfect. Thanks to the great service at the Dublin, CA Americas Tire, I was able to exchange for 255/35 Michelin Pilot Super Sport's. The 255/35 does slightly rub at full compression but adding a tiny bit of camber will fix that.

I may try to find a set of et29 rears, but this is certainly looking pretty nice. I also plan on running 235/40 fronts when the current 245's are done.

looks great! I had the same set-up a while back with 265/35 PS'2 in the rear with rolled fenders and only slight rubbing on bumps at high speeds.

I had the same tires in the same size and it rubbed pretty good even after the roll. I was trying to replicate your set up but it wasn't gonna work. Do you know if your rears were et29?

I had the et23 in the rear. My new wheel set-up is et22 with 265/35 tires and again only slight rubbing.

So did some 219M / 260M wheels have ET29 rear offset?

Your current set up was why I had faith in running the 265/35. That's what wasn't adding up when I put them on and they rubbed on moderate cornering and small bumps after the roll. The guy rolling the fenders said it was the max he'd do without flaring, I probably would have rolled them a different way but he was very knowledgeable about what he does.

I do a lot of "spirited" driving and the freeways in the Bay Area aren't very smooth, so having pretty much no rubbing is ideal for me and that's what I ended up with.

Apparently some 219's did.. Though I haven't seen it in person or pictures, only written on the forums.

I'll believe it when I see it..

You probably would have been fine on 265/30 with a rounded tires like Falken's or Toyo's, but I don't blame you for sticking with the PS2's

Just wondering if anyone else was able to run PSS tires in stock size without rubbing and with fenders rolled.

Talking 219M on 335i Coupe

Have the same on my 335i - PSS 245/40/18 & 255/35/18 with no rubbing issues and most importantly, I don't have to roll the fender.

All 219 and 260 factory setups were et 29 Front and et 23 Rear. Some people have put two sets of fronts and run square 8.5s.

I recently put a set of 219s on my girlfriends e90 LCI xdrive. Running 245 40 18 square. Only slight rubbing in rear over speed bumps and big dips. One thing did notice was increase in wind noise at highway speeds. Assume it's because rears stick out pretty far. Anyone else notice this?

No. It's probably the tires making noise

It was the tires. Michelin acknowledged and offered credit towards future purchase. The 245 were rubbing the front fender liner so went with square 235 40 18 A/S 3.

Not the approach or look everyone would be going for but works well with what the girlfriend's objectives were.
