Cool 6FL Retrofit Success

Posted this to the end of a very long, very old thread, and on reconsideration, thought it was worthwhile to put in a new thread.

Short version: I was able to procure the OEM 6FL retrofit kit and MULF high module and successfully install and code in my 2009 E93. Happy to share info with anyone interested. Details in this post:

Congrats and thanks for sharing!!! Assuming you have iDrive, it would have been better to go Combox + 6FL imo though . The cost is very similar!

BTW did you add Vehicle Order the retrofit numver then code with Expert Profile the entire car?

No iDrive in my 2009, or Nav.

Added 6FL to CAS and VO using NCS; paid dealer to code 6FL to RAD2, because that module is on MOST bus and not codeable via OBD/CAN bus.

Thanks.
