Coding request.. not sure if this is original or not

2006 E90 325i

Lock the gas plate/cover while driving... OR... Drivers door unlocked = gas plate locked --> ALL doors unlocked = gas plate unlocked

I need this because my gas plate is the only thing that rattles from the Subwoofers in the back. I've tried putting foam around the plate but that doesn't work either. The only time it locks is when the car is OFF and all doors are LOCKED... can this be changed by coding?

I addition... if i plan on getting a secondary cat delete in the future, can i delete the detection code before-hand? (not important, just wondering)

There is no detection for the secondary cats. Just the primaries in the downpipes.

Not sure about the gas cap.

I have seen your posts before about coding.

I am not sure why you think it's possible to add codes that are not there in the first place.

Because i see people coming up with new stuff on YouTube all the time... i'm assuming they're just hacking away with different codes and contributing to the next update... i dunno...

^They're not. We are limited to options pre-available within different modules.

All they are doing is activating something that no one has tried yet probably due to translations.

You cannot add custom codes.

oh, okay... ^__^ thanks...

kind of dissappointed that i can't take care of that gas plate issue... any suggestions?

(i'm determined not to go "Ford F-150" style and put a bolt in gas plate on it)
