Halogen Headlight and fog light bulbs

I'd like to upgrade the normal "halogen" headlight bulbs and fog light bulbs to something better. I'm not looking for a max power effect so not looking for anything with a blue tinge.

I've looked at Osram Silverstar ones. I think I am right in thinking that they are H7 (correct me if i'm wrong). But what type are the fogs (i've the M Sport fogs). Has anyone replaced their standard bulbs for these or something like these. I really wish i'd paid the extra for Xenon lamps as the halogen lamps aren't the best and the fogs are naff.

I'm looking for bulbs that spread more light onto the road rather than blinding other drivers.

Any recommendations or experience anyone?

If you look through the USA section of the forum I think there is a post on bulbs etc.

I did look through the USA posts but they refer to Sylvannia bulbs which aren't sold here.

Natureboy who makes the fog bulbs?
Are they only available in the US? or elsewhere? (or anybody know where I can get these in the UK?) web or physical shop
HALO H11 7500K

1stnewcar I take it you have H7 silverstars in both the full beam and dipped beam?

Does it really make any real difference for the full beam?

I changed the H4 bulbs in my motorbike to Philips Blue Vision which made a great improvement. Although the bulbs look blue in the light units the light output is apparently very white.

In my MG I fitted Halfords Super Brilliance H7 bulbs which again made a noticable difference (they were two for the price of one at the time which was a good deal).

Regards

Chris

I ordered a set of H8 8500K blue bulbs to replace the daytime running lights on my E92. I dont know if they will be any good but only cost £12 inc delivery from US Ebay.
Nothing ventured - nothing gained, I suppose

Don't think I have DRL's on mine.
I tend to keep my lights on all the time anyway.

As I understand i'm looking for H11's for my M sport type fogs
and H7 for my dipped beams.

I see the Philips bulbs have been voted better by autoexpress recently so maygo for those instead of Osram ones.
