Who knows...maybe it was the humidity but you should've def done better than me. Maybe it's just me but when I look at that drag strip I could swear that it's slightly inclined

Yea it was my first time at the strip with the car too. Ive had plenty of awd cars before. But i dunno im prob gonna get the car dyno in a few weeks to see what i put down. I have no idea what to expect since its a x drive

I went to the track tonight with a couple friends (E90MCF) and a friend with a 09 Z51 Vette. I've been talking trash to the vette guy all week long about how I was going to kick his ass, but being that this was my first time at the track I wasn't sure how I'd do. We didn't run together because they had to close the track due to high winds, so I only got 2 runs in. His best time was 14.496 with a trap of 106.37. My best time was 13.196 with trap at 101.62. Below are my slips, I am on the left on both.
MY CAR: 11 E92 N55 X-Drive 6AT M-Sport, Vishnu DP, JB4 S2 (MAP 7), Dinan Exhaust & Stage 2 Suspension, HRE P40's Square Pirreli Rosso 255/30/19 35 psi, 99 Octane Fuel.
It was a blast, had a lot of fun and best of all won both races!
I'm going again next friday and hope to have my meth mounted!

I am not sure if that track is just particularly slow or what but with your mods that trap speed is horrible. Stock cars should be trapping 105 or so.

Edit - This is a massively slow track if your friend in his vette is trapping 106.

Read the post.... track was actually CLOSED due to high winds... a 50mph headwind will definitely cause those trap speeds.

Yeah it was a lot of fun! I think it really depends on how good the driver of the vette is. Right before my buddy ran his Vette, another Vette Guy told him to be careful because a lot of Vettes end up in the wall. I couldn't have mind fu*#ed him any better, he was rattled from that point on!

Yeah, not sure if it's a slow track. It is an old track and the wind was horrendous, but still had a lot of fun

Not sure how much of a role the wind played but it was heavy winds. I had a video camera mounted on the side of my car, and my wife took video. I'll post some video up. And you can see how I ran off the track on the second run, race was over and I did a little off-roading in the XI

1/4 mile track wasnt opened this weekend so i went to a 1/8th mile track here in houston. my best time was 8.8 at 79mph, bone stock. but i won ten out of the twelve runs which included two different 550hp saleen mustangs, good day.

whats the perfect/best rpm launch for manual n55 e92?

my best r/t was .19, i didnt even pay attention to the rpm's at launch. i pushed the dsc button (did not hold it in) and at the third yellow light stepped on the gas and dropped the clutch at the green. it seemed to work pretty well that way for me, i had a little wheel spin then it took off.

i guess there is a such thing as too much power, one of the cobras was my buddies and he is not going back till he gets slicks, that was his excuse. i wanted to switch rides for a run but decided against it just in case one of the cars broke while the other was driving.

Slip clutch at 3 k seems to be best with stock tires and I still light them up.

All these numbers with tunes & exhausts etc etc are so depressing. Granted I am spoiled coming from my previous car but man these n55's are major disappointments in the performance category so far.
