HELP! Question on re-connecting the battery
Hi guys, I need some help on re-connecting the battery! While I was connecting the battery I realized there is one wire that I do not know where to plug to (See Picture)! Does anyone know where does this wire go? Or can anyone post a picture of his or her E90 battery? THANKS

See the last picture in this posting.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...16&postcount=1 It looks like it's connected to a jack at the back of the stoplight. |

maybe that wire is not suppose to plug into anything. There are wires that they use during transporting the vehicle. I will check on it when I get home and if i remember to do so.

Do you have PDC ?
I think its the PDC power wire, and if you dont have pdc, it just sits there

As indicated I was going to check this out. It was not much to pull off the panel and look. I too have a 330i e90 and as far as I can tell, that wire on my car is not connected to anything. I am not sure what options you have on your car so this is all I can say. Hope that helps.

that wire connects to a battery disconnect switch that was used for transportation of the vehicle between the factory and dealership. The disconnect switch is removed when the vehicle is preped at the dealership.
there is nothing for you to worry about as the wire isnt used once the vehicle is in your hands. it doesnt connect anywhere. actually, if you wanted to find the other end, just pop up youre rear seat bottom, and look on the right side.... but again, that wire goes nowhere.... |

its for the transport mode battery switch. if you look under the right of your rear seats... there will be another connector that isn't being used.
