Are the cars in the BMW museums still drivable?
So I\'m sure this has been mentioned in the comments section of some of the EDs and other articles, but every time I see pics of the Welt or that awesome trip through the ///M division (where an example of every M car is stored), I wonder if the cars are just sitting there wasting away, or if they\'re started up/driven occasionally. I was looking at some pics of an E46 M3 CSL at the Welt (and wishing I could drive it), and it just seems like a shame to see such beautiful, mint condition cars sitting in a museum, never being used for their intended purpose. So what do you think? Properly maintained? Better to preserve them forever in the museum or subject them to the perils of the outdoors?

I agree. Should be drivable after adding fluids, getting the air out of the systems, etc.
