These are finally available and will land in the USA on 12-15-2011.

Koni Sports:

KONI Sport shock absorbers (painted yellow) were developed for sporting drivers by focusing on exceptional road holding and handling properties, combined with an acceptable level of comfort. KONI Sport shock absorbers are also available as part of KONI's Threaded Suspension Kits which feature threaded adjustable lower spring perches (where applicable) and progressive rate lowering springs designed for performance street driving.

Yes, the rebound damping will be adjustable and these can also handle lowering and stiffer springs.

V1 has no damping adjustments at all. These Koni's will outperform the V1 struts and shocks.

Koni is a better damper out of the block, when mated with proper sport springs the ride will be stock like with more control.

We like the H&R or the BMW Performance springs.

I think I'd go with this route vs.. coils.

Also... will this give me a nice drop? I want something to give it a nice low look (not too low, but clean!!)

I really leaning toward the koni's with h+r sports but before I pull the trigger , I know people say that the bilstein's ride pretty firm so how do koni's ride in comparision?

Koni is one of the softer riding dampers out there because of its twin tube low pressure design.
