wheel alignment
does it matter which type of place that I take my e90 to get a wheel alignment? Should I take it a european specialist shop or just any regular place like big-o or RYNCK TIRE & AUTO CENTERS in pleasanton will do?

dealer uses a BMW system called Kinematics that takes into account ride height.
Everyone else uses pretty much uses the same commercial alignment machine (not kinematics). I would just go to firestone, pay once and get free alignments for life. |

I would suggest trying to find an independent shop that specializes in BMW. We have seen too many times from our customers that use places like firestone for alignments that they only do toe and go (not adjusting always adjusting camber). They will say they can't adjust anything on the front camber. When you really can get small adjustment by taking the pins out.
Not to bash on bigger franchise places but it usually seems independent shops take more time to do it right. |
