Finally got my Colt 1991A1 back and could not be happier....I had a local gunsmith put in an amibi safety and night sights....it malfunctioned on the first magazine...so I sent it in to Colt for repair and had the "tactical package" done...7 months later I got this back

COLT Tactical Package – Includes action tuning plus complete dehorn; replace grip safety with Smith and Alexander or Ed Brown with/without palm swell; replace safety with strong side or ambidextrous tactical safety; checker front strap (20 or 25 LPI); enhance cut front strap; install flat checkered mainspring housing (20 or 25 LPI); bevel magazine well; tune trigger; install Novak night sights. Complete refinish in customer’s choice of available Colt finishes.

Ruger SR9C. Love this thing. 3k rounds through it at least, and besides some minor jams during breakin, the thing shoots great.

The first gun I bought was a Sig P229. I just bought a new Glock 26 3 days ago to be my ccw weapon..
