Thank you E90Post and its members for teaching me how to code!

It was all started from not wanting to have the dull yellow highbeam halogen daytime running light (DRL)...

Now not only I can have my Mtec angel eyes as DRLs, I can unlock many more features of my car! (your car too, pm me :P)

Why is BMW hiding so many cool/good features of our 3ers?

Some results:
Welcome lights with fogs

Welcome lights with rear fogs

Closing everything with FOB

Think I need some help with mine lol. Tried ncs expert today data transmission connection errors. Mine is a USB cable I think it may have to due to the com1 setting stuff?

I believe so... I remember at first the cable were not detected in COM1 but COM2 and it was giving me errors, don't remember the exact error though. After making it COM1 and it worked fine for me.

argh my cable detects itself as K+DCAN in USB\VID_0403&PID_6001\A6000001

it doesn't regonize itself as COM1 I think thats where my problem is.

COM1 is COM1 one just by itself that I configured it seems like

After you plug the cable in, do you have to do anything to make the cable COM1??

When I plug the cable in, it detects teh cable but no drivers are avaliable. Do I need drivers for the cable? I didn't think so reading the doc.

I need a training session on how to use this... haha

I don't remember much but I think my COM1 were occupied by another device at the beginning, I had to find the COM1 device and force it to use another COM before my cable could use the COM1. Good luck!!

SUCESS! just needed the cable driver haha.

I added like everything I possibly can on the spreadsheet lol. how do I fold mirrors with FOB? I added that on the NFRM file I checked. Pressing lock I can only close the windows & sunroof. nothing happens with the mirror?

Yeah, every other area has someone who does pertty much free coding for fun at meets and stuff... the GTA guys really made a killing off this coding stuff haha.

Anyone wanna delete my corners for me? I'll drive to you and it takes only 5 mins of your time

I just coded my wife's e90/early 07 FRM after doing mine. From start to finish it took me 30 mins. I must have modified over 10 codes went through the entire spreadsheet.

My car took a whole month to do tho, learning curve was pretty steep using the writeup.

haven't figure our the lighting stuff entirely yet, I got it half working ish haha. DRL is now angel eyes only with no corner light and corner light comes back at night

Try this for night time corner delete, if that's what you are wondering.
