not always a good idea to buy used suspension components...pro kit is cheap enough as it is.

Too late. Bought used Koni shocks for $300. Too cheap to pass us :P
Used springs are fine. Springs don't have a shelf life so there's not much to worry about and getting them used, I'll get them cheaper.
