Any COD Elite on here having issues like me? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

So i picked up my copy of MW3 and the Elite last night after work. Get home punch in code for Elite, downloaded the app on my PS3, and it doesnt work! Keeps giving me an error after trying to log in!!!

Anyone else have this problem?

I read that they are having server issues because so many people are trying to get on it.

yeah kinda figured something along those lines was going on, you would think one of the biggest games in the world releasing was going to have a lot of traffic, and would have thought to prepare for this.....

just have to wait and try after work....

Now, back on topic:

Elite is still having issues. I can't get online at all today, but last night I could. Didn't matter though, nothing came up on the site, it said I never played MW3 before, which wasn't true.

It was very relevant, everything works great on 360, and obviously PS3 is yet again having horrible online service, issues, probably selling your data to the russians.... lol

It's an expanded service for people who care about a ranking within a digital game. stores your stats and match videos and you get early content and stuff like that

It has nothing to do with the gameplay at all. Elite is the web-based stats page, and it doesn't work on the INTERNET either. Thats the one on the computer there dude.

i finally got into Elite last night.

....and geezus christ.....i thought the PS3 folks were the shit talkers....but this thread changed my mind. i have an Xbox and a PS3....this is the first time I've played CoD on PS3. my biggest gripe is the shitty ass PS3 controller...that thing is terrible. already have an adapter on the way so i can use my Xbox controller on the PS3.

and before anyone asks....why didn't i just get the game on Xbox? because i have more friends playing it on PS3 now.

^ if you want, I have a mouse / nunchuck for the PS3 which I don't use anymore. Works great for FPS games, about 90% as well as a computer mouse would.
