The most unbelievable group of vintage cars EVER. Surprise at the end. (40+ pics)

Little disclosure, I did not take these pictures. A friend of mine on another forum happened to come upon them by chance in Colorado. Apparently the name of the event is the Crested Butte Car Rally. Be prepared to change your pants, because what follows is the most unbelievable collection of cars I have ever seen in one place. I am literally in awe. Without further ado, here are the pictures:

The "flag car" for the event was a SLS AMG:

Row of vintage Ferrari's

Classic Porshe and Gullwing:

ANOTHER Gullwing:

Two more Gullwings? Meh, big deal:

A $1 Million Bentley:

A Bugatti:

And now, probably the most stunning vehicle in the entire lot. The exact same 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa that sold for record $12 MILLION. Not one like it, but THE EXACT SAME CAR. The most expensive Ferrari ever sold. EVER! And at the time, the most expensive car in history. http://money.cnn.com/2009/05/18/autos/ferrari_sale/

I am in pure awe.

For all the picture (64 in total) and hi-res shots, visit his album here: http://picasaweb.google.com/stavo211...y05oztlMum5wE#

If I owned that 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa I'd ring up insurance companies and see their quotes just for fun.

I thought the most expensive Ferrari ever sold was the 250 GTO? I remembered a couple going for 25-30 mil.

It's great to see those cars get driven, and not left to rot in a garage.

I love the C type Jag, you can have all those Ferraris but for me the C type is simply stunning, nothing else here even comes close.

The gullwing is nice, but I think the 300SL roadster is the most gorgeous car ever.

Speechless. There must be some great roads out that way for these cars to really open up too.

Got married less than a mile up the road from where those are all parked in front of. It's absolutely stunning country and getting there is half the fun. In these cars... Agree with MarkR171, I love seeing these cars driven!
