Thank you all for the info. I will make my decision soon.
Looks like I have started some pads war and heated debate here.* My Porsche tech refuses to work on a BMW or even want to see one on his parking lot, which I can totally understand. I will be looking to a forum sponsor here for my parts purchases and installs. I am a strong believer of supporting a forum sponsor and vendor who contibutes *to the community. I am also all for supporting a legitimate business and not a part-time hobbies shop here to make a buck and knows nothing about these cars. I don't take my cars to a guy who works from their backyard on weekends thus the same reason for above. With the above been said, all vendors are welcome to PM me your proposal for brake upgrade - rotors, lines, pads, fluids or what have you. I will also entertain BBK upgrades since I don't like the OEM BMW pedal feel from the caliper and caliper bushing flex. Cost is the least of my concern here. *Before and after sale customer service is more important. I travel often and sometimes will work at a location for weeks or even months, when that happens I hire enclosed vehicle transporter*to get my cars out to me so I don't have to drive around in a generic rental. There is a high probability that I will use one or more tuner/vendors here for the install depends on where I am. |

I did some research on these R1 Concept rotors, and found this experience by mammothman777 of the G35 forums:

I was using Carbotech XP-10 on the track and 1521 on the street. Have noise, pulsation, wubba wubba. Seems like you can feel the slots passing the pad at slow speeds. Ordered PFC-06 and stock rotors. RB fronts will be up for sale in a week or two.

^ Good to know; glad I cancelled my order. It'll be Z4 35is front rotors for me when it's time to replace them.

+1. I've had great experience with Zimmerman rotors on my previous cars and on my current winter beater (2000 Audi A4 1.8tQ)
