Question!-AR/BERK DP with JB4STG 2-N55

Im with the jb4 stage2 for a couple of months and recently a few days ago added BMS downpipe
a few days ago got an error half engine light saying engine power is reduced ... got real worried, shut the car off for a few mins turned it on and its been fine since then

I spoke with somebody and they said that will happen but dont worry your modded and this is what you have to put up with, but the car is fine

I was wondering if anybody with a different downpipe with the jbstage 2 tune has had this issue, or what your response would be to this?

I have the Berk dp with the JB Stage 2 and HKS exhaust for a few months already and drove about 4-5k miles and so far no engine error lights. You might have something going wrong in there. Did you install your tune? Perhaps the CAN wires maybe loose?

yes I agree I am a noob lol.. had me real worried; my light went off after about 50 miles of driving with the DP, shut the car off a few mins and turned it on and its been off since then.. I did contact the tuner just recently, waiting on a reply

No codes now because no error as of now

I don't understand this post. Your brand of downpipe has nothing to do with anything. There are literally 100s of causes of check engine lights. Are you asking if anyone has ever had a check engine light before? LOL.

You just need to read the code and then fix whatever the code indicates needs to be fixed. There is no reason you'll throw a code unless you need to correct something. If you need professional help just email the code to BMS for their advice on whether you should take it to the dealer, ignore it, etc. You won't get much help on forums.

since you have stage 2, you should be able to read code from speedometer using in dash control module.
