Unfortunately, this probably too true. Virginia drivers are among the worst I've ever encountered.

Like I've said before.... come up here and we will teach you all how to drive in the snow!!!

BTW it's snowing right now around here (5+ inches and almost a white out on my way in this morning). Car feels nice and planted even with A/S.. The only problem is all of the "other" people around so I really can't "enjoy" the snow

drivers in ohio are the worst. the snow here last night left the expressways backed up until 3am last night. i forget the final accident count, i believe they said something like 136 around 10pm last night. pretty insane.

my car never made it all the way home. my winter wheels aren't on yet (show up today actually, how's that for irony), so i had to skate home on the summer sport tires.

Same experience here (B4 A4). Also have 325 with ZSP, put on Dunlop M3 winters (DSSTs). So far absolutely fine. The tail waggs if appropriate gas is given without DSC (which I always turn off during the actual snw fall - otherwise the DSC cuts in too much for me) but no more slipping than any fronties out there.

So very true.

About 10-15 years ago, back when Jeep Cherokees where the Hummers of their day, I drove to ski at Jay Peak. At the time I was driving a lowly Tercel, with winters. It snowed a foot that day, so the drive back was in ankle-deep snow on the roads. I was passed by a black Jeep Cherokee, I was going maybe 35-40 miles he was chugging at twice that. Literally two turns of the narrow two-lane road later I saw that same Jeep in a ditch, driver out cursing. We actually stopped to see if they neede help. The maroon went so fast he sligshotted out of a turn and into the countryside. We made it back to Montreal without any problems at 35-40 miles per hour in a car with motorcycle wheels.

Yeah, I was mostly worried about the other drivers being stupid. There was already one accident at 6am today on may to work on one of the main roads that was in pretty good condition. And there is not traffic at that time around here.

Aha, that's the driver from DC talking. What happens once you get to VA, get into the left lane and accelerate until you redline

When it comes to driving in inclimate weather, DC metro area drivers certainly are not the best. I said on average... I guess your the curve buster

Even this morning, there was some idiot in a Blue E90 snow drifting and doing donuts in a snow covered parking lot. Virginia plates and all...

No, much worse. They get into the left lane, driving at half the speed limit and then change lanes without looking or using their blinker.

On the morning of the snow/ice storm earlier this week, I had some moron try to pull over into my lane while i was driving right next to him.
