Who wants an M5?

Seriously... my CA was telling me that they are getting an inventory M5 in Silverstone in soon (before Christmas). If anyone in the Delaware/Maryland/Virginia/PA area is interested in an M5 let me know and I'll pass along contact info. These things are hard to come by.

Too rich for my blood at $87,500 - but I might try to arrange a test drive.

EDIT: I know this is way and will be moved... that's cool.

The dealer where I ordered my car had an M5 on the showroom floor. It had some kind of limited edition add-on that increased the price to $125,000!

A lot of dealers will bump it above retail.

interesting news about GLI, BMW5/6 & others 4:23 PM 12-8-2005 Reply to this post

found this & thought it was interesting:

"Note to owners of BMW 5- and 6 Series cars: Drive with care. Even slight damage to the front of the car can be expensive. In some cases, insurers are declaring a lightly wrecked car a total loss. Why? Because the front end of the car -- built with high-tech aluminum, rivets and glue -- can be hard to repair, according to the Los Angeles Times. The front-end structure, which includes an aluminum firewall and body rails, weighs only 100 pounds. The minimal weight helps BMW achieve an ideal 50/50 fore-aft weight balance for better road handling. Because tolerances are so tight, if the front structure is bent by more than 1 millimeter in a crash, it must be replaced, not bent back to place, BMW says. The automaker recommends that repairmen be specially trained and use only BMW-certified tools and supplies, such as rivets. Experts say it can cost an independent repair shop as much as $100,000 for the training and special tools"

TAKE PICS!! I would love to see what Silverstone looks like. Silverstone is also an Individual color for the e90.

LOL! To be honest, I'd like to see that Silverstone M5 without any clutter around it.

Zdognaylor, when did you see the one in Richmond? I asked my dealer if he had any so I could test drive it, but he said he didn't I think. Either that or he said I was crazy.

2 weeks ago Casey BMW of Newport News shipped one to the D.C. area. It was Silverstone too, an amazing color.

I actually saw one of the new M5 on the road a few days ago on the road. When I saw it coming from my rear on the mirror, I was like "that 5er looks nice~!!", then I saw those 4 exhaust tips on the back! My next response was "holy crap!! that's the new M5!!, she is a beauty~~!!"
Seriously, that thing looks tight as hell
