Thanks. I'm actually quite impressed and maybe even more surprised with the cars performance myself It has 63k miles on it after all.

The slope is 2.66%, a bit more than I thought, but still within the 3% limit. It turned out I started accelerating a bit sooner than last time, and just hit the slope perfectly I didn't post the slope or send anything in since it isn't a legit run anyway, but I will do it again in a few days I hope. I'm also thinking maybe the 17" wheels and wintertyres are a bit lighter than the 18" summer rims/tyres as well.

Well, here it is officially then, and even a little bit quicker as well.

I just did a 60-130 in 9.51 seconds with a FBO car (NO meth).

My car is a E92, 335i MT. Time was done in 3rd and 4th gear (1 shift)

The mods of my car are:
  • JB4 map2 (14.5 psi)
  • Wagner FMIC
  • Wagner 3" catless DP's
  • Milltek catback exhaust
  • AFE stage 2 DCI
  • Cyba Scoops
  • STETT Chargepipe
  • Forge DV (yellow springs)
  • Quaife ATB LSD
  • BMS speed delimiter

I run on pump Shell V-power 99 octane (in Denmark), it's the same as 93 in the US afaik.

The slope was ~2.5%, started the run @ ~185 feet and ended @ ~150 feet.

The temperature was around 6C / 43F and I was also "helped" by a slight tail wind.

Here is the 6.95 second run from the 2008 Steptronic coupe on LEVEL ground.
JB3, CM5, BMS DCI, 100 oct pump, 028 dryshot, 2.5" DPs.
17" NT555Rs, ~3550lb w/driver
Stock intercooler, Stock Turbos, Stock Catback

Yeah, it's quicker than I thought it would be, but hey, I'll take it. Will have to wait until Mr.5 checks his mail before I can claim it though...

I will probably hit the dyno this thursday morning if all goes well. It will be very interesting to compare to your results with meth.

What brand of dyno? Do you have a dynojet near you? I mean without meth, I had a best of 401whp...but a best WTQ of 407. And my deltas from that particular dyno (different place than my meth dyno) were 91whp, 92wtq. My delta from the dyno last year, the same place I dynoed this weekend, was 100whp, 81wtq. Please do make sure to do a dyno in stock mode to get your Deltas, as this will help tell the story. But just for kicks...my meth delta? 144whp, 171wtq. That tells the true story of the benefits of meth injection.

It's a dynojet I believe. With the Steinbauer I put down about ~360 whp. I will see if they have time to do a map 0 run as well, so I can get the delta.

That meth delta of yours is truly impressive

Ran a 8.56 sec 60-130 tonight with straight downpipes.
I think this is a new stock turbo/non-nitrous record SO FAR...
FYI: I think the slope is showing about double what it actually was...but still within limits so it doesn't really matter.

finally was able to do a 60-130... I honestly don't know what to expect for a 3900lb car on straight 93 pump gas. 1 shift, which bogged - will knock off a little time with a bog-less shift.

11.26 second with a 1.6% slope

that was with my 19" wheels and such as well, and a little over 1/2 tank of gas... I will be in the 10's tonight.

this meth kit can't get here soon enough!!

Are you going to test the same place so you can compare the result directly, or nearly direct? I'll look forward to seeing just how much meth will improve your time as I'm also seriously considering going the meth route soon.

As for the time, I think it's a great time for the heavier xi car, weight matters a lot more than you'd think, even at those speeds.

had the chance to do one try tonight... ignore my first email mr 5., wait until I send another official email.

This one isn't OFFICIALLY official because I pulled off at 129.36mph but just for keeping my records i'll post it in here. I know I can do it a little faster because this shift bogged... i did one more run right after with a perfect shift and you can really feel the difference, although I had to pull off way early on that run unfortunately.

results!

59.40mph --> 129.36mph = 10.56 seconds

2.2% slope, 46 ambient, 20 miles left on the tank of 93.

I put some 102 octane in the tank while in germany last saturday, but unfortunately it was too wet to get proper traction for a 3rd/4th gear run, but on map7 I actually managed a 10.70 sec 60-130 mph time going slightly uphill, with slight wheelspin around 100 mph in 4.gear all the way....

9.8 60-130 2 shifts. Should be within the 3% max slope. Sent log to mr.5.

Cobb stage 2 race, 6AT DPs, DCI, FMIC, 93+meth, secondary cats removed. Full weight stock wheels.

Ran 12.4@118.9 quarter mile through vbox with 2.1 60ft.

You need to set the speed limit to 130. The vbox will chime when you hit that speed.
