Disconnecting Battery

I will be out of country for 3 months in March. Do you recommend disconnecting the battery during that time frame? I think the battery will not hold standing for 3 months. But, if I disconnect and re-connect after 3 months, except loosing radio stations, what else I will be concerned with?

Thanks.

Why not leave the battery connected to a smart battery charger like the C-TEK while you are away? It will trickle charge and keep the battery at an optimum level when you return after some months. It even has acharge level memory and a re-start ability after a inadvertent electrical power cut off. BMW sells the same charger branded as its own.
