Quick Sunday mod

Just changed my se steering wheel for the m sport one.
Job completed in under half hour, wonder what a stealer would have charged?
Very quick, simple DIY job.

The new wheel feels so much better, than the original

Just earnt myself a beer!

Dealer would have charged up to one hour's labour. A wheel change is a job that can be done by yourself as you have discovered. Have you done the gear knob and handbrake gaiter to an MSport one as well?

There's a m-sport gear knob on eBay at the mo! Although the steering wheel was my fav interior mod, the gear knob was good too for making the shift a bit snappier. And if you've gone that far you might as well have the handbrake part too!

I have a 335d so it's an auto.
Is there a gear knob for an auto? Although cant see it making gear changes quicker!

No difference in gear knob for auto M Sport or SE.

Did the same wheel change myself from SE Sport to M Sport, very easy DIY job, just a bit scary with the airbag initially but that isn't a big problem.

When I took mine off a I got a Airbag fault light on the dash.

So may not be as simple as suggested if you don't know someone with the reset kit.
