Reversing light issue

I recently installed a reverse camera, got in a hurry, and didn't check the potentials well at all. In the end I had the inner trunk brake light going through the camera and to the reverse lights (basically put reverse 12V bias on the reverse light wire). The car was fine for a little bit, and then I finally got a bulb out warning for the rear reversing light. The bulb is fine. The wire checks continuity from the light plug to the footwell module. The taillight itself rings clear.

So, I have a NCSxpert up and running. The code did clear out, for a brief while, when I erased the error. However, it came back very shortly after. According to the WDS "This lamp circuit remains switched off until there has been a terminal change (terminal 15 -> terminal R -> terminal 15)."

Therein lies my question. How would I go about making this terminal change... and is this even a coding issue?? I would like to know if this is possible before I even attempt to buy a new footwell module.
