Exclamation E90/92 Coilovers interchangeable or compadible with E82

I've always been curious, as I lurk the e90post for sale forums a lot & I am looking to upgrade to coils. Are E90/92 coilover's or aftermarket suspension's any different than E82 specific coilovers (such as those sold on **********s on our E82 suspension page).

Specifically I'm directing this question towards KW Coils either in V1/2/3. As they are most common on the e90post forums.

I know our stock suspensions are very similar to 335's or E90/92's with Sport Suspension so thats why I am wondering this.

EDIT::

Haha woops, I'm on this forum so much I accidentally posted to E90 post. Heres the link to the same post on 1addicts : http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...9#post10932919

the RWD E9x models are interchangeable with the 135i (except M3, unless you get supporting parts). Everything will fit, but there may be minor differences in spring rates, since the 135i is lighter. But if you get coilovers, you can adjust the height so that it rides correctly.

E9X non xi and non M coil over will work on your E8x. Minor difference in spring rates. Ride height issues is mostly with the rear not be able to get the car lower than you wanted on the E82 since it is much lighter car.
