Unhappy e91 front lights misted up

Hi just took posession of my new 320d m sport nice!
But drove to work this morning in pooring rain only to get out of the car and noticed both lights were misted up!
Anyone had similar problem or is usual and will it go away?

I had this same problem in the first couple of days after taking delivery. It went away the next day and has not happened since. Must be one of those strange new car things

I had the exact same thing when I picked up my e92 - it happened for a couple of days, and hasn't happened since

There is a new thread on this phenomenon started about every two weeks or whenever a new area of North America gets a little bit of rain. There must be dozens of fully functional lights having been replaced because of this. I've had it on mine and, lo and behold, the lights continued to function and the fog/misting disappeared by the next day.

My son had the same problem with the foglights on his MG ZR. An MOT examiner can fail a car for this as the beam will be diffused. I'm sure this would be changed under warranty as the unit should be sealed against moisture ingress.

Regards

Chris

Lights misted up really bad so took car down to dealer today. The dealer took the car for a couple of hours on returning said it needed two new headlight units!, so booked the car in for next week. They said they would need it most of the day as the front bumper has to be removed, hope they dont scratch it!
