Koni FSD or Koni Sport for COMFORT?

Hi guys, I have a 2010 320i (E90 LCI) non-M. I'm looking to change the OEM shocks and my top priority is comfort because of horrible road condition in my area. I do not intend to drop my car. So my question is whether Koni FSD or Koni Sport (at softest setting) provide more comfortable daily ride with stock springs and original height?

Also, I found this price from **********s quite attractive:
http://www.**********s.com/Koni-FSD-...ies-E90-92.htm

But the item says "2006-2008 BMW E90" so I wonder if it can be used with E90 LCI? No reply from **********s yet...

Thanks in advance for your answers

One more question is does changing the shocks affect the wheel's spacer size? Thanks guys

I've had both dampers. Definately the FSD's if comfort is your #1 priority..
Check with your vendor but I don't think dampers on the E9X have changed.

The KONI FSD would be the more comfortable out of the two choices. The KONI FSD is compatible with the 06-11 E90/E92 325i, 330i, 335i Sedan/Coupe Excl. Xi-models under their vehicle applications. With that being said, yes, it will work fine on the E90 LCI models.

1. Are the FSD's going to have more or less performance than a stock sport damper?

2. Are the FSD's going to have more or less performance than an M3 damper?

Usually the FSD's will have better damping characterstics than the oe dampers but they're inconsistant. I found they'd occasionally blow through bump travel as if there was no shock but that didn't happen often. I'd recommend them over oe.
And no, I doubt they're a better performing damper than oe m3.

How much more harsh are the Yellows vs M3 OE?

I don't know anything about M3 dampers except that you'd have to replace the rear camber link to fit them.

About OE vs FSD vs Yellow:

That's a great read. Thanks!

I know I can't swap the M3 dampers and springs, but my ultimate goal is to have as close to an M3 suspension in terms of handling and comfort.
The springs and dampers are the mystery piece.
Right now, I'm leaning towards the BMW Performance springs (it seems their spring rate is pretty close to M3) and Koni FSD dampers.
I don't track the car, don't care about drop, just want that feel, performance, and comfort that the M3 masters so well.

Perhaps look into a used M3 rather than suspension changes? They're fun!

Totally with you on that. You're going to foot the difference in cost and pay for my gas right?
