Tire size question.
So I have a set of dforce ltw5 wheels (18x9 front and 18x10 rear) And the time has come to replace my nitto NT05 tires (currently 245/40/18 front and 285/35/18 rear). I have aleady ordered two 275/35/18 conti extremecontact dws tires for the rears, and am looking at a tire size for the fronts. I have two choices.
Stick with the current 245/40/18 size or go a size smaller with: 235/40/18. Would the 235 be too stretched on the 9 inch wide wheel? Thanks for any input you may offer.

A 235/40/18 should be fine on a 9" wide wheel. Sizing down the tires wouldn't have any major negative affects during everyday driving though.
