Winter Wheels On and winter prep done (pics inside)

Finally mounted my snow setup ( style 189 wheels mounted on Bridgestone Blizzaks LM-25 non RFT.) Also did a "winter prep detail" to protect from the nasty road salt. This is my first rwd car and I'm very curious to see how it'll handle in the snow. Anyways, enough talk and on to the pics. . .

Marshmallows

Your snow performance will be awesome, and you'll have great traction in heavy rain with those Blizzaks. In dry weather you'll feel like you're driving on a set of marshmallows. It's a sacrifice you have to live with.

yea so far during a heavy rain storm the car felt great, and as far as dry performance it doesn't feel too bad.

Anyways thanks for the compliments fellas!

I wasn't too crazy about the staggered setup (225/35/18 rears) but the blizzaks were given to me by a customer and it had 10/32nds left so I couldn't put them to waste. Anybody here have experience with a staggered snow setup??

thanks Micael , I 'm located in the north of Italy and in winter snow 3 4 days not more but for the law you must fit winter tyres from october to march to be able to drive on the street........... terrible law.... anyway I need winter tyres because I go to ski in the mountain and there you must have them if you don't want to stop at the first climb..............

i have almost the exact same car (e90 335i sport). i just bought a spare set of style 189 oem wheels for $700 (flawless) with oem bridgestone summer wheels. I'm gonna switch them out with winter tires and keep those for when my stocks run out. for winter, i'm leaning to the lm-60 blizzak rft's. any particular reason you went non-rft? i'm open to suggestions.

Well the snow tires were given to me by a customer that was trading in a lease so the tires weren't my choice. They were almost brand new so I couldn't put them to waste. So I mounted them on and I bought this

in case of an emergency. Worse case scenario, I call bmw assist.
