'07 335i vs 2011 Nissan Maxima 3.5 (290bhp)
Thought the maxima would put up more of a fight. Both are bone stock. Just got the 335i about a month ago. Upgraded from a 2000 Audi S4.

It was a rental. Cammed GTO in the shop, and I don't have much of a chance vs that ....yet

But congrats on the new car OP, although if you're gunning for Nissan, try a Z car for a better match up

... so "you" "raced" a car that just seemed to be accelerating at a rate comparable to yours?.. i see that all the time theyll hit the gas hard off the light and then cruise at 40mph

Hahah.. Had to start somewhere. It was this and an x5 4.8is.. Audi s4 v8 and 550i next. Guy with the maxima was giving me a hard time all afternoon because it has 290hp and weighs the same or less. He thought it would keep up.. obviously not

Yea NA. I bet the Maxima doesn't have nearly a much torque.
