I was rather hoping for a nice easy purchase just to show it can be done.

There's still a ways to go yet as we haven't started talking seriously about figures yet. That could be interesting considering all the info that you guys have posted here.

Patience, Patience dear friend

Had an 1hr 30min drive to the dealer this morning, traffic was pants and I was doing my best to avoid have any incidents in my Golf as the weather was terrible.

Arrived at just after 9am, handover went well, wheel-refurb and paint issues seem to be resolved to my satisfaction. Car had been prepped and cleaned. Looked nice and shiny .

Payment went through without any hitches, we did the paper work bit and then went over to the car to do the intro to the controls. At this moment, somebody above clearly decided to "rain on my parade" and the heavens opened-up It absolutely tipped it down

Needless to say I took the journey home very carefully. What can I say about the ride, it was exciting and I have a huge grin on my face. I'll post up my initial thoughts about the car and equipment later on.

The car was absolutely filthy by the time I got home, so I ended-up giving the car a quick wash and dry off in order to take some

Hope you like them......
