Hey, is anyone selling their stock 335is diffuser? I'm on my 7th exhaust and it's back to dual. I have a BMW Performance Style Quad Diffuser from Dukes Dynamic im trying to sell. If anyone is going for a quad setup, hit me up! Looking for any black or alpine white 335is diffuser. Thanks!

No issues here and I have the infamous statefarm. Policy increased by $7 a month from my 08 e92 so pretty easy to insure and quite affordable. Good luck!

Picking up my IS soon...should be here by end of Jan. Just had a quick question...can a 6MT version of a 335IS still have the overboost function? A friend of mine was stating that it is only a DCT option but I find that ridiculous.

That's just plain incorrect. No change in engine specs between the two. In fact I recall an interview with a BMW M head who mentioned that the 335is 6mt has a beefier clutch and lighter flywheel to handle the extra torque from overboost. He said this hardware was shared with the 1M.

All that aside I have a 6MT 335is and the over boost is pretty obvious when you floor the car.

different transmission. the 6mt clutch is beefier so you and a tune with no problems. The dct no and the 1m has no overboost function either as it only comes in 6mt. The extra boost is 20 to 25 ft lb torque for the 6mt. One way to find out for sure also is to read the manual and look for instruction on how to activate the overboost function for 6mt. Another way to tell also is to look for the checkered flag on the dash.

Wow! Please tell me you're not serious. I've never seen so much misinformation in one post. Speechless. I don't even know how to respond.

Well does the checkered flag come up for 6MT owners too? Since you have 6MT what does your manual say? I thought that was a DCT thing since they put a limiter on what RPM to launch from

The checkered flag indicates launch control enabled, which is available only with the DCT. Checkered flag has nothing to do with over boost. There is no enable/disable switch for over boost...this just comes in under certain acceleration conditions and is present in all 335is'. And the 1M.

No the checkered flag is only for dct equipped cars. There is nothing in the manual for 6mt caz they dont have launch control.

335i to 335is

Ordered my 335is at Thanksgiving, the car just finished production and is ready for shipping.

2012 335is 6MT
Black Sapphire Metallic
Oyster and Black Dakota Leather
19" style 313 with run flat tires
Convenience Package (comfort access, park distance control, power rear sunshade)
Premium Package (auto dim mirrors, compass, garage door opener, lumbar)
Heated front seats
Navigation system
BMW Assist w/enhanced BT and USB
BMW Apps
Harman Kardon surround sound system

I watched probably several hundred youtube videos showing the car and exhaust sounds. Read every review online. Can't wait for the car to come in.

Will be sad to see the 2008 335i 6MT go, love it to this day, and the Dinan stage 2 had been great.

Where to get a good quality set of amber reflector replacement in dark smoked reflector type? Not the painted ones, but the smoked ones?
