Tint pics please - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi, I'm debating on tinting my 328xi coupe black/black. Not sure what % to get. I know it's illegal in NJ to do fronts but doing it anyway. Not looking for anything too dark because backing up at night would be an issue without a camera or warning system.*

Hoping to see what some people on here have and select based on that. If you could post a pic of your car with tints and let me know the percent it would be much appreciated. (it's also to help with the horrible glare from the non dimming side mirrors at night)

Also thinking of using the 3m to black out the chrome.*

15% all around none on windshield, its ceramic so at night its not as bad as people would imagine

nice..looks good, rims are sick. Do you have the back done at 30% as well, i assume so otherwise it would look kind of weird IMO. If so do you have any difficulty in backing up at night... i had 15% on my infiniti but i had a rear camera so it didnt matter.

i have 15% also and have no trouble driving at night or backing up.

it all depends on your interior. i got the tan interior and went with a 35%, liked it at first, but soon realized i should have gone with the 20% like the guy at the tint place recommended. BTW i did mine at Tropic Tint in union,nj. they do a really good job. for my 330i they charged me 250, but definitely worth the money.

thanks man! yup 30% all around....no problems backin up at nite....the PDC is there...not as good as a backup cam but it does the trick

Good stuff. Since my interior is black I'm thinking of going with 35% all around. Hopefully someone posts a pic of that so I can confirm my decision and get it done Saturday.

Woops my bad. Should have been more specific. Here in Canada, a lot of people suggest going with 30-35% to avoid the legal issues. But then again, of course it varies.

I have 30% on my alpine white and I love it.
