Adding a switch to buttons next to downhill assist
I'm installing my Laser Jammers on my 2012 335. It comes with a round kill switch for users to shut off the jammer so the hard-working officer doesn't catch on. Anyway, I really am not interested in drilling new holes and adding a switch that doesn't go with the interior. So, I thought I'd just add a factory switch next to the downhill assist button. I gotta figure this is a slam dunk, but thought I'd ask if anyone's done it???

Possible as there are other buttons that can go in that row depending on your options installed - such as the Heated Seat buttons use the left/right outer buttons, Rear Sunshade uses one of the interior buttons, Vert Top uses the other interior buttons.
Only thing is, you can't just buy the seperate switches to replace the dummy block offs that you have installed. You would have to buy then entire switch module, but get the version that has the extra switches already present.

Wonder if you could Mod the dummy switch similar to the euro fog mod by shaving off the tabs to allow it to be depressed and just stick the other button behind it

Looked up the Euro fog switch in the DIY section. All referenced the head/running lights switches. This is a 2012 and all those switches are used. Or, are you suggesting I trim my round kill switch, groove out the dummy switches (not really switches at at all), and install my kill switch behind it?
