deals on non-rfts
fed up of the runflats, anyone seen any good deals post Xmas on 19" non-rfts?
was trying to stick to £500 limit for 4, so Khumo or Falkens I guess unless there are other suggestions? Ive had Nankang S2s on previous cars, seem decent for the money (£300 for a set) |

Kumhos or falkens mate. I wouldn't have nankangs.
I've got kumho 19s on my 335 and they are spot on for the money. Just put Falkens on the wife's 118d and they are fantastic in comparison to the shitstones that were on there before |

+1 on avoiding Nankangs - they're not nicknamed ditchfinders for nothing...
Try Event Mobile Tyres for your Falkens or Kumhos - they're as cheap as everyone else and they do some kind of discount for buying 4 IIRC. |

Vred sessantas here...but for £500....think you have a better chance to get the falkens 452 for that budget....

I've got nankangs, can't fault em, and I read revues before I bought them, for the price I think they're great

Sorry, newbie question but what do you do when you have a flat with with non rfts's on? Do you carry around that expanding foam stuff?
I only got my 335 last week and it has rft's on but from what ive read here, I may be better off changing to normal tyres when they run low?? |

thanks guys, got a few options, and ive got some life left in my current runflats, so can flog them to offset.
Khumo - £612 fitted (blackcircles) Falken 452 - £474 Nankang S2 - £330 Toyo T1 - £750 Nexen 6000 - £420 other than khumo's, these are all from camskill, but the guy in the unit next door says he'll put them on for £10 a wheel, which seems reasonable to me! I cant find anywhere with Vreds in stock, so that puts them out 335tim - the ride quality is undoubtedly improved on non-rfts, just put a couple of cans of foam in the boot. para-great shout on event tyres, they have the Falkens at £560 fitted. |

I would personally stay away from the nankangs, I know a couple people who have these (allbeit not on a BMW) and the grip in the wet is truly awful, dry is ok. If I had to choose between namkangs and rft I would choose RFT.
I have been a passenger in a car with the nankangs and lets just say after a slightly sprinted drive I was holding onto the side handle lol |

they were £232 and £292 not a week ago!! ![]() I then just went to someone local as they were only £6 more so, when you added their charge to fit £40, i lost out on £70 unnecessarily. gash. |
