I'm looking at buying a cpo 335xi but just ran into an issue. It has active cruise control and i have a radar detector. For those of you with active cruise control and radar detectors does it set the detector off? Is there any way to turn it off? I just did a search and didn't find anything but if there is another thread that addresses this or i'm not in the right section anyone can feel free to point me in the right direction.

Another question i have is do those of you with 2008's and active cruise control have the glass circle somewhere on the grille? I thought to have active cruise control the car must have one of those but don't see it on the pictures of the car i'm looking at... Maybe it's a error in the description?

No problem with active cruise and radar detectors. I have a 9500ix and I don't think I have ever picked up my own radar. My wife has a Acura that has active cruise and crash avoidance. I pick that up in the garage or when her car is close to mine. Also pick up other cars cruise as K band, but never my own.

Awesome thank you. Problem may have been solved anyway i think the car i was looking at didn't really have active cruise control. Thanks for the response though
