Maybe he is getting too popular - called ahead for parts to be sure they were in as I would pick them up in 60min, Mike confirmed he had it in stock, and to deal with the guy behind the counter if he was not there when I arrived. Got to dealer 15 minutes early, just to be told they were all sold out. Guy at the counter waffled on price (even though I referenced MAXBIMMER). Big waste of time.

Mike has always been good to me. So has Fil (the parts guy a few years back at Maranello). However, even with maXbimmer pricing I have still typically get cheaper price quotes from BMW Toronto without any type of discount???

The parts I purchased were:
e90 front license plate bracket - $9 cheaper at Toronto vs Discounted Maranello
e85 drivers side seat belt buckle - $25 (approx) cheaper from Toronto
e85 M54 o2 sensor - around $5 cheaper from Toronto.

Maybe it's just the parts I'm asking for?

What I do miss are when I was working for a auto mechanic, my discounts from Maranello were much better back then. Also when I was a BMW Car Club of Canada member. Much better discounts... unfortunately, I can't use either discount now.
