VW Sharan's with FT60 plates.

Seem to be loads of VW Sharan's with FT60 xxx plates on VW Approved used at the moment. With varying miles between 10k and 20K

Any ideas what these cars have been used for - They are different to the normal K plates of VW management cars.

Want to ensure I'm not buying a daily rental or something like that.

Thanks

To be fair a large percentage of vehicles for sale in this class will be ex-rental - Not a problem, just give it a good check over, and take it on its merits. You will probably find they are a guaranteed buy back, this way the manufacturer can control the residual price.

having driven quite a few hire cars as well as seen how others have treated them, I certainly would'nt desire to own one.

Its perhaps not so much of an issue with an auto as to some extent they protect themselves. In my opinion, a manual is an altogether different propopsition.
