People make this mod sound so difficult. Seriously, get under the left pipe, use those guns of yours and pull the damn hose off .

Just pull the plug. Why screw with the hose? If you have a JB4 just turn off the flap unit.

To answer youre question, the car needs time to adapt to the difference in backpressure. You will only loose low end torque for a while until the car adapts, same as with any exhaust.

Btw this thread is almost a year old lol so no more reviving

Thats actually not wrong. It takes time for the dme to account for a change in backpressure. Low end torque is affected until it adapts.

they do, look at the dyno charts, the torque lags.
