Tease no more...back in action, Mtech style **56K beware**

So as some of you may or may not remember, I was involved in a 1 car accident back in December (9th, to be exact) http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=631312.

Almost 7 weeks later, I finally got her back from the shop, looking better than ever.

However, upon showing my buddy Mike (trizzuth on e46fanatics) at work one morning, he noticed that the beam on the passenger headlight (the one that was replaced) was off a bit. Turns out, BMW sold my body shop (who did an outstanding job...Carls Collision in Fall River,MA, for any locals needing body work) a defective headlight. Just my luck. So after having my car for about a week, it was back in the shop for 3 days while the headlight was ordered, delivered, car driven back to BMW for programming, and returned to the shop for detailing.

Along with the car, I got both fog lights from my original non-M tech bumper, which weren't damaged in the crash.

And while I was without her, I ordered some goodies. Onto the pics...enjoy. Hope you guys like it, because I sure do!

Right after I got her back...of course it had to rain and ruin the detail job

Day after I got her back, the first time

The toys:

The install:

Portuguese Ingenuity:

The finished product:

I've also got Blue Bat's smoked overlays which will be going on shortly, pics to follow. Haven't installed the RHO plate, yet. I was sure to ask the body shop to NOT drill holes for the license plate and ruin my beautiful bumper. Glad they were more than happy to oblige. For now, no plate.

I'll probably mess around with the ODBII bluetooth adapter and the Torque app this week. My buddy has it in his Mazdaspeed 3, and after going for a ride during lunch one day, I totally bought into it. Pretty sweet app, especially when you're able to get the full version for free (PM me for details if you only have the free version).

Looks great, though I would have personally opted for LCI M Sport bumper.

Couple Questions,

That is my RHO tow hook license plate adapter. http://www.rhoplate.com/

The intake is from Burger Motorsports (BMS). It honestly doesn't sound much louder, if at all, but you can clearly hear the turbos spool up much better. Well worth it for that sound, alone.

Going through the insurance and what not, it would have been very difficult. I would have had to front the cash for the LCI headlights and hood, so I was not about to volunteer for that. Not with a wedding and house to pay for. I'm very happy with the route I took, thanks!

Couldn't agree more, ha. But again, wedding + house = my broke ass. Wheels will come eventually but probably not for another year or two. I'd be happy swapping for 162's with someone. Or finding some beat up/damaged LM's and restoring them.

Thanks, man. Eventually, for sure.....when I'm not broke.

Haha, thanks. I'm surprised nobody commented on the visibly obvious need for a drop. Drop, wheels, dp's, tune....one day....
