What did you guys pay for a full M-Tech kit install?
Hi,
To those of you who did a full M-Tech install...what did you pay for paint/labor? I just called up a local shop who quoted me $2500 for the paint/install which I thought sounded absurd. What has been your experience in doing the M-Tech installs? -Kevin PS - If your in the SF Bay Area, let me know if you've got any good shop recommendations (also posted in the Norcal forum) |

That's too much. How much are they charging per hour and estimate of hours??
Side skirts would cost me 2-300 and rear and front bumper 3-400 together. That comes to around $700 just for paint with BMW spec paint, all parts baked to harden the paint, and then polished. Install would be maybe 4-5 hours at $80 and hour = $400. So altogether $1100 would be a fair ballpark.

Up here in Vancouver, BC, where everything is %$#@ expensive, it'd be around $1700. The $2500 quote is way high.
