I'd only use cf vinyl on interior. Looks too fake for exterior IMO

If it looks fake to you on the ext it will look just as fake to you on the interior. It's a small enough area and the wrap weave pattern is the best I've seen, that it pulls it off nicely in this application.

Well I tried it on the rear diffuser. I wasn't happy with the adhesion to the tight spots and corners. Tried the hair dryer and patience but it just didn't stick well. It looked alright on the large flat areas. I am sure someone better at wrapping could get it to look decent. I might get an estimate to paint it the body color. $500 for the real CF diffuser is too much.

My installer used a promoter to increase the adhesion at the corners and edges. No problems so far.

Where did you you get your diffusor wrapped at? I'm near Balitmore and have been looking for a good shop to get this done at.

Cliff at AutoArmor He's located in Columbia MD just off Rt 32.

He alsu installed the clear bra on my hood. Going to have him wrap my silver window time in satin black too.
