Fake front PDC sensors? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Got super awesome deal for the front Performance bumper but with holes for the PDC sensors. Obviously, i do not have them on my regular bumper.

Is there any option for the upgrade without actually installing sensors into bumper? They are really expensive.

Maybe some ordinary plastic cups or something?

I am going to assume the performance bumper you are looking @ has holes for them to install on?

Well, just take the bumper to the paint shop and have the shop fill the holes in w/ fiberglass/body filler

put led lights in them...maybe like some strobes.

thatll be sweet...youll be the only one that has that lol

Well, just take the bumper to the paint shop and have the shop fill the holes in w/ fiberglass/body filler

That could be done, but apparently these things can crack after a while... they can not guarantee 100% sure thing. Or i was told wrong?

Any other idea maybe?

Then that shop must be pretty lousy at doing their job, I worked around shops for a couple years when I was having lots of work done to another car and if done correctly cracking won't be an issue.

i made fake PDC sensors out of ABS plastic rod i ordered online, i machined it down in my lathe to fit. they look just like oem PDC. If you fill the holes they will crack over time or you start to see an outline of the hole.

My friend doesnt have any plastic at the moment but he can order some if youd like a set
