330d M Sport Diesel Leak - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi Folks,
Has anyone had to replace their breather pipe on an E90 diesel as mine developed a leak underneath the rear offside undercarriage, just forward of the rear offside wheel. This only happened after I filled up the tank to the brim.
Anyone had this done in the North West region? If so, what sort of cost are we talking about?

Hi my Indy was telling me about a 1series he had done recently sounds like the exact same fault as yours.while my car was up on the ramp he had a look (e92) and he says it's the exact same setup as the one series.It took him around 5hours to replace the hose I think he had to drop the diesel tank out because the breather pipe ran through the chasis.Dosent sound like an easy fix.

I had mine replaced under warranty by Bluebell Wilmslow about 3 years ago. A known problem. This was my driveway after I'd backed my car up...

If you've not covered by warranty I'd speak to BayMoW, just opposite Stepping Hill, I'm sure they'd sort you out

Hi Roger,
Any idea of cost from BayMoW? I've just booked my car in with Darren Wood BMW Specialists in Bredbury and they reckon it will take 2.5 hours work plus parts.

I've no idea Stuart but Darren comes highly recommended so don't think you'll have a problem there. BayMoW is nearer to you though I guess??? Worth a quick call.
