E90 Stepper Motor for Adapative Headlight

Hi, did you sell this part? The adaptive headlight warning on my car came on. Turns out the motor has shorted due to water leaking into a crack in the headlight cover. Dealer quoted $1000 for the motor -- is this the same part?

Yes, but do your research. It could be numerous reasons why you are having those issues. Stepper motors are notorious for breaking. Does your headlights move up & down upon car start?

You need to pop the ball joint back in.
