Smile Wet Okole Seat Covers

I just got these custom fitted seat covers made and installed by Wet Okole. I think it really enhances the somewhat bland/conservative look of the interior. Fitment is perfect! Except for the cover for the center console, which kind of gets in the way of it latching closed. The red seatbelt covers are a nice touch... but not very practical. It gets in the way when using the belts and then retracting the belts.

I want to keep them from getting damaged. I keep damaging my seats with my jeans... esp. the side bolster getting in and out of the car. Since this is a lease, I wanted to limit the damage. Also just for sportier look.

Ok, but you have wood trim? Why didnt you get aluminum. Wood is not very sporty... Im sorry, im not trying to get on your case. I dont even have a 335.

I just think that there is no reason to protect your seats so the person that ends up buying your car as a PRE-Owned vehicle three years from now has nice new leather seats to enjoy!

Enjoy the seats man. You dont drive a 89 Honda...

The dealer should fix them if that crap happenes anyway!!!
What dealership do you go to?

I like the seat covers . My last car (e46) had a tear on the side bolster from wear. I'm sure the dealer would charge me for it if it happened on my lease.
I go to Sterling BMW. My e46 was from Crevier. In any case, I like these covers . My e46 had aluminum trim. I could have ordered aluminum but I leased this one from their stock... this was the closest one I could find to my desired color and options.

Looks good, I am considering these for my MINI to lend a splash of color to the all black interior.
Have heard nothing but good comments on the fit of the Wet Okole covers on the MINI forums.
I presume these will defeat the seat back net pockets?

Yes, they cover up the pockets. I got the option to add pockets to the cover, so I still have pockets behind the seats.

Heheheh yeah some people might think its ricey. I think its "sporty" and protective at the same time... no constant worries about wear and tear on the seats, and having to be careful getting in and out of the car.

I don't see how it's "sporty", but I do see it as useful, if not a tad tacky.

I had these in other cars, but never in my BMW.... But you've got the right thing in mind, protecting your wallet from lease-end fees.

I dont get this whole thing about the end of the lease... I have leased every car I have ever owned and never been charged for anything. Acura, Ford, Chrystler, Infiniti.

My ford had no stereo in the dash, and no center console, as I removed it to install a Sub, that I took out to return the car. The crystler had a bunch of dings and the seats changed colors. The infiniti FX had all sorts of mods and some dings on the interior trim. And the acura had the same ware on the bolster that you are worried about.

I was not charged a dime on any one of these cars... Is BMW really harsh on lease returns?
