Service Intervals - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

My clock currently reads 9000 till next service and 05/12.

Clearly not going to do 9000 miles from now until May so will I have to have the service at whatever comes first?

I havent got I-Drive by the way.

It'll need looking at by whichever comes first.

They might be for different things anyway, such oil in 9000 and brake fluid (time dependant) in 5/12, mind you brake fluid is every two years, so if yours is a may 07 car that will be due may 09, 11, 13 etc.

Look at the previous services.

Can you not check specific service items without i drive?

Perhaps you can, will have to have a proper check and see what it says.

Will also check the service book.

Either way I will need to book it in for sometime in May, which is what I had thought anyway so have planned for this.

It did have a service from BMW when I bought it in Oct so hopefully the May service is not to harsh on the old pocket as got my MOT due then too.

Bought it on 42800, now on 48000

Yours should fly the MOT, easy.

BTW don't whatever you do get BMW to do the MOT, they have a vested interest in it failing as they can then sell you parts and labour to fix it 'while you're in'

Just take it to any while-u-wait small local non BMW-specific garage.
