I have a 3 car tandem garage thats like a normal 2 car garage:
but half of it is double deep for a 3rd spot. when I first got it: Tool box and work bench, also have a 30gal compressor in the corner. Tire rack: Next projects for the garage are a welding machine and ceiling mounted hose reels for air tools.

Thanks, man.
Just to prove that my garage does actually get put to use from time to time, I snapped a few pics last weekend while I was installing my ETS intercooler... Couldn't of done it without my spotter.

Your garage is one of my favorites in here - not terribly extravagant, but a great use of space and a solid home gym. Car looks great, by the way.

god damn sneaky, you gotta stop posting pics.
so much want its unbelievable. I probably wouldnt do the home gym though because I bought a all in one sorta home gym machine back when I was in high school and I NEVER used it. When i have a gym membership, i feel as if i have to go or else im wasting money whereas with home gym im like whatever, bought it already, no more paying for it. |

This is a very old photo and alot has changed. Sorry but it is nothing spectacular and very tight space but glad to have one.

Congrats, E! Take advantage of the time to plan out the layout and what key storage / shelving stuff you're going to get. IMO, just getting a legit workbench and a couple of shelves makes a huge difference in the overall usability and appearance. I spent under $1K on all my craftsman stuff; just make sure you get it when they have it all on sale and search online for the coupons they give out for an extra 25% off.

I am so undecided on how i want to use the space. I wanted a 4 car garage. But all the ones we bid on, someone outbid. So we decided to build. And the lots for this builder would not accommodate 3, let alone 4 car garage. Wife likes the house though, so happy wife, happy life!!!
And for tools, it's going together expensive. I am in the military and have moved alot. This last move I had to sell alot due to a smaller house at my last base. I will probably build a nice bench then do a double stack tool box with my compressor in the corner. Then do hanging shelving for the Xmas boxes and all. I want a lift at some point in time. |
